It’s Travel Savings Season!
The cheapest time to visit Hilton Head Island and the Low Country is usually during the low season in the fall and early winter. October-December feature lower accommodation rates and fewer crowds than the peak summer season. While the water may be a little cool for swimming, the weather is still pleasant for outdoor activities like golfing, biking, hiking and visiting the beaches – all with fewer crowds. Fall also heralds the start of oyster season and various local festivals.

Hilton Head Island
Chicago has its deep dish and New York has its big foldable slices, but New Haven is the original home of the “apizza” style with a thin, charred crust, simple yet bold toppings and coal-oven baking. This regional fare offers a perfect crispy-yet-chewy bite and unique flavors that’s beloved by locals and visitors alike. Must-try spots include Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana, Sally’s Apizza and Modern Apizza.

Fort Lauderdale
Trying to fit in fall family vacation but not crazy about another trip to Orlando? Fort Lauderdale offers you a perfect mix of warm weather, fewer crowds and plenty of fall-themed festivities across the city and beachside neighborhoods. If you want to experience it all for less, September-November may be the least expensive time of the year when it comes to airfare, hotel accommodations and local activities. Plan your visit for late October and you can enjoy Nightmare Village at Xtreme Action Park, Headless Horseman Halloween at Gulfstream Park, Wicked Manors on Wilton Drive or Halloween on Las Olas.

Boston
Visiting Boston anytime during the off-season, from November to April, offers several advantages if you’re seeking the best deals on accommodations and attractions. Daily high temps are still in the mid-50’s around Thanksgiving, so maybe consider a holiday getaway – and just bring a jacket. You can still see historical sites, enjoy some terrific seafood and catch a Patriots, Bruins or Celtics game. Prices are also known to drop dramatically for some of the city’s top hotels between December and March.

Cabo San Lucas
Cabo San Lucas is renowned for both family vacations and romantic getaways. Best of all, one of the most affordable times of the year to visit Cabo is right now, from early autumn through early October. This period coincides with the rainy season – still great for whale watching – so while you might encounter some rain showers and higher humidity, you’ll also find fewer crowds, lower priced flights and more affordable options.

Nashville
If you’re looking for top-notch entertainment at rock-bottom prices, one of the best times to visit Music City is during the months of September and October. In addition to famous locales like The Grand Ole Opry, Bluebird Cafe and Music Row, you can also visit some of the most beautiful country in America and watch the leaves turn a brilliant red and gold. All in all, autumn in Nashville offers travelers a good balance of pleasant weather, fewer crowds than the peak summer months, and generally lower prices.

Montana
Want to get away from it all and get back to nature? There’s a reason most of Montana is referred to as “Big Sky Country” and one of the most economical times to visit is during October and November. Although some activities may be limited, you can still visit Yellowstone National Park (check hours ahead of time) and avoid the long lines and higher rates of the peak season. Accommodations booked months ahead for winter and summer usually have more open rooms at lower rates during late fall, so this could be a great time to go.
See? It’s never too late to get away. And these are just a handful of destinations waiting to greet you. A quick online search is bound to uncover many more. But if you really want to enjoy your trip, remember to reserve your affordable, hassle-free parking space at Joe’s Airport Parking. We book up during peak periods, so we suggest you book now.
